Kanha National Park
The park has a significant population of the Royal Bengal tiger, Indian leopards, the sloth bear, barasingha and Indian wild dog.The present-day Kanha area is divided into two sanctuaries, Hallon and Banjar, of 250 and 300 km2 respectively. Kanha National Park was created on 1 June 1955 and in 1973 was made the Kanha Tiger Reserve.

Lanji Fort
The Lanji durg and mandir, also called the Lanjigarh or Old fort and temples of Lanji, are a group of monuments traceable to the 11th to 12th-century. The fort had a moat surrounding it, one farmed with crocodiles as the first line of defense. Made of stone and twenty feet high, the fort walls are decorated with Hindu motifs such as Ganesha, Vishnu avatars and other iconography.
