Kamaleswari Temple
The temple is situated in the Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat of the Dhalai District. This Temple is located in the center of the town and a major pilgrimage spot. Kamaleswari is another name of Goddess Kali. Kamalpur the largest Sub-divisional Town has been named after the temple. Kamaleswari Mandir is about 35 kms away from Ambassa,District H.Q of Dhalai and 122 kms from Agartala the State capital of Tripura.

Longtharai Mandir
According to the Tripura Tribal dialect, Lord Shiva’s name is Longtharai in the KOK-BOROK language. According to legend, after Shiva returned from Kailash, he slept at the Longtharai hill for a while. Longtharai is the name given to the hill as a result. Longtharai can alternatively be translated as “Deep Valley.” This temple is also a renowned tourist attraction in the Dhalai District.

Dumboor Lake

Gumti Wildlife Sanctuary
Spread across a massive 390 sq. km, the Gumti Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the south-eastern part of Tripura. The sanctuary is home to a wide range of animal and bird species such as Phayre’s leaf monkey, Asian Elephant, sambar, water buffalo, wild goat and several migratory birds. Unakoti Rock Carvings
The site of Unakoti is located in the northeastern part of Tripura, about 8 km from Kailasahar and 185 km from the State capital Agartala. The vertical surface of the Unakoti hills was used by the ancient people to carve various mythological scenes such as the different iconographic forms of Siva, Ganesha, Uma-Maheshwara, etc. Unakoti is famous for its colossal rock cut panels depicting Hindu deities. Unakoti provides evidence of ancient Saiva worship in Tripura from 8th-9th centuries CE.

Tayung Tuku Waterfall
