Yogani Shaktipith

On the occasion of Navratri, a flood of faith swells in the 52nd Shaktipeeth Maa Yogini Temple (Maa Yogini Temple 52 Shaktipeeth). There is a temple of Maa Yogini on NH 133 Godda Pirpainti road, 15 km from Godda district headquarters (52 Shaktipeeth in Godda Jharkhand). The sanctum sanctorum cave temple of Mata is at an altitude of 1000 meters above the ground.

This place is at the distance of 12 Kms from the headquarter of Pathergama Block which was inhabited by Raja Basant Rai .There existed a big tank in 50 acres of land. According to legend, no one has ever been able to cross the tank from one end to another whether by swimming or an elephant or in a boat.

Sunder Dam

Sunder Dam is the only dam in Gedda district, which has proved to be the biggest and beneficial. The depth of this dam is said to be about 75 feet. Nobody knows how true it is.The main reason for selecting this place at the time of construction of this dam was that there are mountains on all three sides of Sundar Dam. Due to which the shortage of water can be easily met. All the rain water coming from the mountains is collected in this dam.Which is used for farming.
