Angrabari –Shiv Temple

Angrabari is Hindu temple complex originally named as Amreshwar Dham and later renamed by the revered Hindu Seer Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswathi. It is a temple consisting of the deity of Lord Shiva, Ram and Sita, Hanuman and Ganesh. The temple is believed to have a Swayambhu Shiva Linga that is regularly worshipped. The temple is also called as Amareshwar Dham because the deity according to legend was worshipped by a Mango tree.

Dombari Buru

Birsa Munda managed to escape from there by dodging the British. Only six people's names are recorded in the stone-pelting done at the said place. These include Hathiram Munda of Gutuhatu, Hadi Munda, Sigrai Munda of Bartoli, Bankan Munda's wife, Majhiya Munda's wife and Dundang Munda's wife. Local people say that about four people were killed in that struggle. People call Dombari Buru the Jallianwala Bagh of Jharkhand. After this incident, Martyrdom Day is celebrated every year on January 9 in memory of those killed.

Ulihatu

Ulihatu is the birthplace of Birsa Munda, the national hero of the tribals of the country and their God of the Earth (Dharti Aaba). Birsa's birth anniversary is celebrated across the country as Tribal Pride Day and also as Jharkhand Foundation Day. Birsa Munda was born on 15 November 1875. He waged a struggle against the British, passed away on 9 June 1900 at 9 pm in Ranchi jail.
