Pillalamarri Banyan Tree

The most interesting place to see in Mahabubnagar is the famous banyan tree called Pillalamarri, which is about 4 km from the town. There is a tomb of a Muslim saint under the tree. The tree presents the appearance of a small hillock with green foliage from a distance but on reaching closer, it looks like a large green umbrella under which about thousand people can easily take shelter.

Jamalapuram Temple

Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple located in Jamalapuram, near to Errupalem in Khammam district of Telangana. The presiding deity in this temple is Lord Balaji and is said to be a swayambhu Lord, who self-manifested in this place. The legend has it that in ancient days Jabali Maharshi worshipped and did penance here at a place called Suchi Gutta and was said to have been blessed by Lord Venkateshwara.

Pandavula Gutta

Rock art is a form of landscape art, which is found only in certain regions of India. Jayashankar Bhupalpally district in Telangana is home to many prehistoric habitation sites. Paleolithic cave paintings have been found at Pandavula Gutta (Regonda mandal). Pandavula Konda (Pandavula Gutta) site was first discovered in the year 1990. The major attraction here is rock climbing.
