Sula Vineyards

Rajeev Samant's introduction to wines took place during his early years studying at Stanford University and working at Oracle in California, neither grapes nor wine were at the top of his mind when he returned to India in the early 90s. A chance visit to his family's land in Nashik - a region well-known for growing table grapes - in 1994 led to the seed of an idea, and before he knew it, he began pursuing the idea of growing wine grapes in Nashik. His curiosity piqued, Rajeev spent three months at a small winery in California that belonged to his friend and mentor - and now Sula's Master Winemaker - Kerry Damskey.

Saptashringi Devi Temple

At a distance of 26 km from Vani and 65 km from Nashik, Saptashrungi Devi Mandir is a Hindu temple situated near Nanduri village. The temple lies atop the cliff with an altitude of 1,230 m.

Harihar Fort

Harihar Fort appears to be rectangular from its base village. It is built on a triangular prism of rock. Its three faces and two edges are vertical at 90 degrees. The third edge towards the west is inclined at an angle of 75 degrees. A one-meter wide rocky staircase with niches in it is carved out for ascending and descending the Hari Har Gad Fort.

Mangi Tungi

This place is very old consists of two hills Mangi & Tungi are two cliffs of a single mountain these are named after two sisters Mangi and Tungi. Mangi is at a height of 4343 feet and Tungi is 4366 feet above the sea level. We can find 6 caves on the Mangi hill and 2 caves on Tungi hill. There are more that 600 Jaina images of the tirthankaras in the padmasana and kayotsarga. Inscriptions on so many idols are not clear. Many idol installed in V.S. 651 are here. Many inscriptions on rock are here in Sansakrit Language in ADINATH & SHANTINATH Caves, but not clear. An inscription of V. S. 1400 is still there in Adinath Cave.
