Martello Tower
The tower is situated in the south-east part of Siddhu Kanhu Park, right in front of the local D.C.'s residence. The Martello tower is the remains of the struggle between the Santhals and the British in Pakur Town. Sir Martin, the tenth S.D.O of Pakur, built the tower in 1856 with the view of protecting the British Empire from the attack of the Santhal warriors, who had led many struggles to drive out the Englishmen, tyrant Jamindars and Banias from their land.

Dharni-Pahar Temple
Dharni Pahar is situated at a distance of 15 kilometres from the south west of the Pakur city. There is a temple which situated on the hill top, is the major attraction near every tourist. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. During the Bengali month of Shravan and Mahashivratri festival, this temple collects a huge number of devotees.

Siddhu-Kanhu Park
The Siddhu-Kanhu Park is located behind SDO Bungalow and in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s residence. It is considered as an amusement park and stands near the Martello Tower. This park is built by the British rulers of Palur to defend their Raj here from the onslaughts of Santhal warriors who had waged struggle to drive out the Englishmen, tyrant Jamindars, and Banias of their land. Sidhu Murmu and Kanhu Murmu were the leader of the Santhal rebellion, the native rebellion in present-day Jharkhand and Bengal (Purulia and Bankura) in eastern India against both the British colonial authority and the corrupt zamindari system.

Kanchangarah Cave
Kanchangarh Cave: Located on the top of the hill, Kanchangarh Cave is situated in the deep forest at a distance of 18km from Littipara Block. Shivlings are found inside the cave. Devotees flock around the cave every day to offer puja to the god. The oval-shaped structure near the hill has a very strange sound while echoing. The structure is said to be the site of the ruling Paharia king in this region.

Nityakali Mandir
This temple exists in the campus of Pakur Rajbari in the north middle of Pakur Town. It is very old. The shape of the statue is engraved on a big black stone. The people of this area pay their floral offerings to Goddess Kali with great devotion. Its origin relates to the Pakur Raj family. The Pakur railway station is only 2 km from the holy place.
