Dassam Falls
The Dassam Falls is situated at 34 km from the city of Ranchi on Ranchi-Tata road near the Taimara village. The place is also known as Dassam Garh. The major water source of this waterfall is River Kachni, which falls here from an altitude of 144 feet.

Patratu Valley
Ranchi once was considered as a hill station and back in the golden days there were the rich and famous from Calcutta would travel to Ranchi to improve their health. No doubt Ranchi and its surrounding places have many tourist places but it really can’t be called a hill station any longer. My last statement however is not true when someone visits a place called Patratu Valley (Patratu Ghati) located just around 30 kilometers from Ranchi Railways Station (Ranchi Junction).

Maa Dewri Mandir
Dewri Mandir is located in Tamar 60 km toward south west in NH-33 from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. It is a very old temple of Goddess Durga. The main attraction is that the idol have 16 Hands (Normally Goddess Durga have 8 Hands). The temple is very old and now renovation is going on. It is made up of big stone put one over other without any cementing material in between. Dedicated to Solha Bhuji Goddess, an avatar of Goddess Durga, Dewri Mandir temple is located little outside the main city of Ranchi. Spread over nearly 2 acres, this old temple in Ranchi also houses an idol of Lord Shiva. Legend has it that whoever has tried to alter the structure of the temple has had to face the wrath of the gods and suffer consequences.

Birsa Zoological Park
Bhagwan Birsa Biological Park, Ranchi, popularly known as Bhagwan Birsa Zoo, Ranchi is one of the most beautiful and progressive zoos in India, having 104 ha of area of mildly undulating topography with natural dry deciduous Sal forests & water bodies in and around it. The park is situated on both the sides of National Highway 33, at about 20 kms from the Ranchi city, the capital of Jharkhand. The part of the park on the northern side of the NH is the botanical section consisting of an area of 23 Ha, while the larger part of the park on the other side of NH is the zoological section or the main Zoo spread over an area of 81 Ha. of area. Ranchi War Cemetery
The Ranchi War Cemetery is an important historical site in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The cemetery is the final resting place of soldiers who died during World War II. The cemetery is a beautifully maintained garden with rows of graves and memorials that stand as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by soldiers during the war. The cemetery was created in 1942 and contained the graves of 472 soldiers who died during the war, including 71 soldiers from the United Kingdom, 161 from undivided India, and soldiers from other countries such as Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The cemetery was built and is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
