Ram Raja Temple
The Ram Raja Temple is a temple in Orchha, Madhya Pradesh, India commonly known as Orchha Temple. It is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage and receives devotees in large numbers regularly. The annual domestic tourist number is around 650,000 and the foreign tourist number is around 25,000. The daily number of visitors to the temple range from 1500 to 3000 and on certain important Hindu festivals like the Makar Sankranti, Vasant Panchami, Shivratri, Ram Navami, Kartik Purnima and Vivaha Panchami the number of devotees who throng to Orchha range in thousands.

Jahangir Mahal
One of the most popular historical monuments in Orchha, Jahangir Mahal is located at a distance of 18 km from Jhansi. Placed in the fort complex of Orchha, this palace was built in the memory of Mugahl ruler Jahangir by King Vir Singh Deo in the 17th century (between 1605 and 1626). The palace is known by a number of other names too including, Orchha Palace, Rani Mahal, Jahangir Citadel, Citadel of Jahangir, Mahal-e-Jahangir etc.

Betwa River
The Betwa is a river in Central and Northern India, and a tributary of the Yamuna. It rises in the Vindhya Range (Raisen) just north of Hoshangabad (Narmadapuram) in Madhya Pradesh and flows northeast through Madhya Pradesh and Orchha to Uttar Pradesh. Nearly half of its course, which is not navigable, runs over the Malwa Plateau. The confluence of the Betwa and the Yamuna rivers is in Hamirpur district in Uttar Pradesh.The Indian navy named one of its frigates INS Betwa in honour of the river.

Lakshmi Temple
The Lakshmi temple in Orchaa is a must visit for art lovers and another example of magnificent architecture by the Bundelas. The temple is not active but is a gem worth visiting. The paintings on the ceiling depict scenes from all Hindu mythology ie Raja Ram, Lord Krishna, Vishnu, Brahma, Shiva... Rarely seen beautiful frescoes on the ceilings and walls. Scenes of battle with the Rajput warriors, the English, Frenc h invaders, all worth seeing.

Garhkundar Fort
Sohanpar of Gaharwar clan of Banaras migrated to Garhkundar and made it his capital by evicting Khangore in the 13th century. Later they were known as Bundelas. He built the fort and his descendents expanded it. Sai-iajendra. Nanakdev, Priti-ivirajram singh, Ramchandra, Medinipal and Rudrapratap were the different rulers of Garhkundar. The last Ruler Rudrapratap shifted his capital to Orchha in 1531.
