Nahargarh Fort

Picture yourself leaving the bustling markets of Jaipur behind and embarking on a journey upwards. As you ascend a ridge of the Aravalli Hills, a magnificent silhouette forms against the sky. This is your first glimpse of Nahargarh Fort, a majestic structure completed in 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II.

Other legends suggest that the fort owes its name to the Rajput kings who fought for their motherland with the prowess of tigers.
